Day 1

Arrival / Negombo

Transfer via: Flight, arranged on your own

Travel time: approximately 20 minutes

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and then be escorted to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Note: Buddhism is extremely respected in Sri Lanka, any disrespectful words or acts may cause deportation or denial of entry, e.g. Buddha tattoos, kissing/climbing/riding Buddha statue, drinking inside a temple, etc.

Day 2

Negombo/ Sigiriya

Transfer via: Private vehicle

Meals: Breakfast

Travel time: approximately 4.5hrs

Early morning (around 6.00am) visit Negombo Fish Market

Each day, fishermen take their Oruvas (outrigger canoes) and go out in search of the fish for which Negombo is well known. They’re a fine sight as they sweep home into the lagoon after a fishing trip. Fish auctions on the beach and sales at the fish market near the. The catch is not all from the open sea: Negombo is at the northern end of a lagoon that is renowned for its lobsters, crabs and prawns. Across the lagoon bridge there’s a second fish market. Later return to your hotel & after breakfast check out and head for to Pinnawela where you can visit the Elephant Orphanage and get up-close and personal with an elephant during their morning feeding and river bathing. After lunch, proceed to Sigiriya, en route you get opportunity to visit a local Sri Lankan family for coconut break.

Day 3

Sigiriya/Polonaruwa/Sigiriya

Travel time: approximately 2.5hrs

Start the day with a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress (the Lion’s Rock), the 8th wonder of the world. Climbing up the staircases rewards with an amazing view on top, later followed after is an excursion to the second most ancient city of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, Polonnaruwa

Evening -you will have a leisure walk around beautiful Kandy Lake. The lake is artificial and was created in 1807 by Sri Wickrama Rajasinha, the last ruler of the kingdom of Kandy.

Day 4

Sigiriya/ Kandy

Travel time: approximately 3.5hrs

Today head for Ceylon’s old capital of Kandy, en route stop for an interesting visit to learn a wide range of spices at the Spice Garden, who’s 15-minute complimentary Ayurveda Massage is also highly recommended. Also you may witness cookery demonstration which is conducted by staff of spice garden. Continue to Kandy once in Matale stop over at Sri Muthumariamman Thevasthanam Hindu temple this is an interesting Hindu temple. A priest will show you the five enormous, colourful ceremonial chariots pulled along by people during an annual festival. (Opening hrs 6.00am -1.00pm)

Upon arrival in Kandy take an interesting visit to Kandy’s three main temples: the Lankatilaka , Gadaladeniya and Embekke Temples belonging to the 14th century. Gadaladeniya is built of stone and reminds us of the South Indian influence of the period. Lankatilaka temple is a magnificent brick building in white and in the shrine room is found a superb seated image of the Buddha. Embekke temple is famed for its carved wooden pillars with intricate designs.

Evening-appreciates a vivid and traditional Rangahala Cultural Dance (Kandyan Dance)

Day 5

Kandy

In the morning Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (UNESCO world Heritage site) – Sri Lanka’s most sacred Buddhist shrine, the Pooja Ritual held in the temple with all the fanfare, drums, trumpets and brightly colored Monks definitely shows you how special and spiritually important the temple means to Sri Lanka.

Thereafter take an interesting visit to  Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya which boasts 300+ varieties of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees at.

Rest of the day free to walk around Kandy’s City Lake to capture nice sceneries to your camera

Day 6

Kandy/ Nuwara Eliya

Meals: Breakfast,

Travel time: Approximately 3 hrs

After breakfast, set off for Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque journey packed with beautiful mountains,

Waterfalls and tea plantations. First stop over at cascading Ramboda waterfall & make a short visit to Hanuman Temple (relating to Ramayanaya Epic) .On the way get escorted to a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the world’s best Ceylon Tea is produced. After learning about the process of manufacturing tea, get hands-on experience of tea picking and don’t forget to sip a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Upon arrival guided stroll in Nuwara Eliya City. Later transfer to your lovely hotel & Rest of the day is for relaxation. You can take your time to stay in  the hotel or walk around the Downtown Nuwara Eliya, this “Little England” town.

Day 7

Nuwara Eliya /Ella

Travel time –Approximately 2 hrs

After breakfast, set off for Ella a picturesque journey packed with beautiful mountains, waterfalls and tea plantations –Ella is small village in Sri Lanka bless with nature , so it would be worth to stay in 01 night there to capture the lovely sceneries of surround

Day 8

Ella/ Yala

Transfer via: Private vehicle,

Accommodation: Big Game camp site (local rating: camping), Tent

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Travel time: approximately 2.5hrs

check out after breakfast and head for Yala, en route enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ella. Upon arrival at Yala, check in to the Camp site and have a rest before your afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park, home to a diverse range of wildlife including elephants, leopards, wild buffalo, sambhurs deer, musk deer, black bears, macaques, jackals and a numerous variety of birds. The park is renowned as the best park in the world to observe and shoot pictures of leopards.

Day 9

Yala/Thanamalwila/Udawalwe

Meals: Breakfast

Travel time –Approximately 1.5 hrs

Morning capture the nice sceneries surround area of Campsite

Later leave for Thanamlwila Village in a rustic area. It can be a truly fascinating experience to observe various aspects of authentic Sri Lankan village life including fishing, wood carving, farming etc. and experience villagers’ joys and sorrows while escape from hectic urban life. You will also have a chance to go trekking through paddy fields, Catamaran ride at the lake and enjoy a lunch at a village home. Drive to Udawalwe for overnight.

Day 10

Udawalwe/Weligama/ Galle

Transfer via: Private vehicle

Meals: Breakfast,

Travel time: Approximately 4hrs

After breakfast, say goodbye to Udawalwe & proceed to Galle- known for one of the best beaches in the Southern Sri-Lanka, as you leave from Udawalwe why not make a stop in Weligama, Weligama beach is famous for its Stilt fishermen. In chest-deep water on the beach, just a few meters off-shore, are the stilt fishermen perched on a cross bar fixed on a single pole planted into the sea-bed. These fishermen, who are the poorest of the poor, spend hours with their lines cast out to the sea to catch small fish and sell them in return or use for their daily meals.

Upon arrival visit the exotic Galle Dutch Fort in Galle, which among the best-preserved fortresses in Sri Lanka. Take the evening sunset over the Indian Ocean to your camera Later check in to your hotel & Relax

Day 11

Galle/ Colombo/Exit

Travel time – Approximately 3.5 hrs

After breakfast, set off for Colombo, Upon arrival in Colombo, take a guided city tour to explore Colombo’s colonial legacies including the Independence Square, Gangarama Temple of Colombo, mile-long promenade of Galle Face Green and. Stop for taking pictures when driving by the former British Administrative Centre etc. do last minute shopping in Colombo Today, you will be escorted to  the airport for your departure flight.
