Everything was pr arranged and it all worked out fantastiacly by our orhaniser Monica who was keeper her eye on us every step of the way even to the pont of geting call and emil on my Birhtday and not to mention the arrangments for a cake!! We all had a great ime with everything taken care of for us. Our Driver Chamila was a star also. Many thanks for everything and we will definatly be using you again when exploring places that are a little out of the way.

I was a little apprehensive about booking and paying for my travel using an off shore agent but I am so happy we did .Our agent Comfort Travels was always quick to answer questions and offer advice on our holiday.We had a fabulous guide named Ruksan in Sri lanka and he took very good care of us .Our driver Nardeesha was a fabulous driver and we felt very safe with him. Customer care manager called us several times in Sri lanka to check that our holiday was going. The other main advantage of using Comfort Travels was the huge saving. I had the identical tour priced in New Zealand and we saved a huge amount of money .Many thanks to Team at Comfort Travel and to our wonderful guide and driver .

All the hotels were more than adequate, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful JetWing Sea in Ngombo, the luxurious Aliya Resort in Sigiriya, and the atmospheric The Firs in Nuwara Eliya. We are also most grateful to Comfort team for assigning the excellent chauffeur guide, Hemal Dimuthu Bombuwala, to accompany us. D, as he asked us to call him, was a primary reason that the trip was such a success. From the moment he met us and assured us that he “was there for us,” we felt confident that we were in good hands.

Each day in Sri Lanka featured an unforgettable experience: seeing the elephants being bathed at the “orphanage” in Pinnawela, struggling with the climb to Lion Rock, riding an elephant through a village and stream with monkeys all around us, marvelling at the Buddhas in the Cave Temple, and visiting the tea plantation, the botanical gardens, the Tooth Relic Temple. The jeep safaris were great fun, and the Perahera was definitely the highlight of the whole trip. We were seated across from the President's box and saw more than three hours of performing groups and costumed elephants directly in front of us. At all times, D was available to us, and he even helped to make the very long rides tolerable. Every detail enhanced our time; D helped to plan a cake at the hotel and high tea to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. If we were younger, we would be planning another trip to Sri Lanka!

Arrival at Colombo was very good as Sampath was there waiting for us. We immediately got on very well and the theme continued throughout our Sri Lanka visit. He is punctual, extremely knowledgeable and well-mannered with a good sense of humour! There was always ample water and he was always open and accommodating to our requests. It was certainly a major plus to have him as our driver/guide! At this point, I will say that the staff at all the hotels were very courteous and friendly and no issues with facilities or food. The coral just off our villa was breathtaking and we really enjoyed the snorkelling. Our last day was made special by spinning dolphins at breakfast then swimming with 4 turtles! There's nothing more I can say about this island that has not already been said.

I would like to thank to all the team for their excellent work in organising our Wedding Anniversary holiday. A very special thank you goes to Sampath. He really did help make our Sri Lanka holiday a truly memorable experience. All the Komandoo Island team also deserve praise for their cheery professionalism and happy smiles!

"Awesome 7 night trip to Sri Lanka”

My family and I recently visited Sri Lanka for a 7 night trip (Feb 2016). The whole experience was amazing from beginning to end. It started with the tour operator, Comfort Tours. They were absolutely fantastic with the organizing of the tour for us, including the driver/tour guide. We did change the itinerary on numerous occasions and comfort team was happy to accommodate the changes.

When we finally landed in Sri Lanka, we were greeted by would driver/tour guide for the week, Suresh. He was a very pleasant guy, very knowledgeable, friendly and generally a pleasure to have around. The sites we visited, the elephant orphanage and jeep safari were especially great....were all fantastic. The hotels we were booked into were great too, nice food, clean and accommodating.

Overall we had a fantastic time in Sri Lanka seeing the sights and sounds (not all as we need a lot longer than 7 nights for that). I would highly recommend comfort Travels to organize the trip and certainly our driver/tour guide Suresh. Thanks for a wonderful time in Sri Lanka!!!

After my 6 week India trip, comfort tours had arranged this 8 night Sri Lanka Tour. He didn't miss any detail and everything went smoothly. The itinerary was a very full one with lots to see and do and I found Sri Lanka to be extraordinary. It is a beautiful country with lovely people and should be on everyone's list of places to see. My trip would not have been complete without the attention of my driver. Hemal Bombuwala, better known as 'D' is wonderful. He made sure I got the best guides at the various attractions, took care of any of my extra requests ( for example, can we go check out a golf course pro shop - we did, in Nuwara Eliya), and even added a few things along the way. ( tea stops, coconut drink stop, coir factory, etc). After 8 days of delightful conversations with him in the car, I am proud to count him among my friends. We climbed Sigiriya Lion's Rock (amazing), Mihintale and Dambulla. We visited the elephant orphanage. We went to Minneriya National Park and did a safari and saw beautiful elephants in the wild. I took the train to Nuwara Eliya and D drove up with my luggage. Such an interesting trip and once there D took care of any touring, finding restaurants, etc. On our way back to Colombo, D stopped and bought a variety of bananas so I could do a banana tasting. Who knew that there were such different kinds and flavours out there! comfort team doing the tour arrangements and D taking care of me once I was there, my tour could not have been better. Thanks to you both for a fabulous time!!

“Driving in the Rain”

We did a very quick trip to Sri Lanka, about four days plus a few hours on Sunday in Colombo before our flight left to return home so we had very little time there. It was raining steadily, sometimes pouring for most of the day so we basically drove around and looked at the sights from the car. Our driver, Amila, was excellent as a driver and guide. He made every effort to accommodate us - even taking me to the mall so I could buy tea to bring home as gifts. (Hint: Lots of tea shops in the airport with lots more choices.) Our hotel, the Galle Face, was beautiful and although our room was smaller than the ones where we stayed in Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, was comfortable. I really recommend visiting Sri Lanka. I really wish we had more time to visit more of the interior. In my opinion from our rainy drive through, Colombo is good for an overnight stay but if possible, don't make it the focus of your trip.

“ Perfectly Amazing Vacation!”

I chose the company for a 12 day tour in Sri Lanka which included a day in Colombo and from start to finish, I had fantastic service! Sri Lanka is an amazing country and it really has everything adventoures and beach lovers crave in a vacation with some of the most friendly and accommodating people you will ever have the pleasure meeting.

Comfort Travels worked with me until we developed the perfect itinerary for a wide age range and interests of our family. Just before final payment, I made a major itinerary change and comfort team was able to accomplish all my requests and rework the itinerary so I was tremendously pleased!

Starting out we had a very comfortable small van and driver; perfect for our program and family, but on the first day when we realized the van didn't come with seatbelts, I emailed to Comfort team in the late evening and by the morning we had a different van with seatbelts. I was absolutely delighted and surprised at how quickly they were able to rectify the problem and get us on our way to a fabulous vacation! Comfort Travels itself on taking care of problems when they arise and then follow up at the end, should they be any difficulties.

From start to finish we did everything! We climbed Lion Rock, went white water rafting, did two safaris; one by boat and one on land, traveled by elephant, fed and bathed elephants, stayed in luxurious 5 start tents, had the view of a lifetime from our hotel in Kandy, saw what life was like in a village, visited amazing temples, both Buddhist and Hindu, and my nephew had some gorgeous swimming pools to come "home" to after a full day of touring-his main request for the vacation!

Our day in Colombo was tailored to just what we wanted to do, like the rest of the vacation and we ended the day in a very nice hotel near the airport . I can't thank Comfort Tours and to team enough for their hard work to make the vacation perfect and standing behind their product throughout the vacation and beyond. This is the kind of customer service I have always looked for throughout my many years of traveling and I highly recommend the company.
